As of August 15th I am going “Walk About” as they say in Australia. I will be gone for at least two months. Life is an adventure. Live it to the fullest. Don’t get stuck, look up to the sky, be filled with curiosity, take an unexpected turn, see what awaits you. I will keep you posted. To my Tarzana Boxing Family, keep on training! Oh, except I guess only men were allowed to go Walk About. Hah! I will go wherever and whenever I want!

I am, more than anything, a Traveler, always seeking new ways to learn and grow. Especially in these challenging times, I am a passionate advocate of free speech. The practice of martial arts is a way of life for me. I am the co-founder of InsideOUT Writers, a creative writing program for incarcerated youth, and the founder of the MY WORLD PROJECT, connecting youth in remote areas through art and writing. I'm happiest living out of a suitcase and seeing where the next step in my journey will take me. For the past three years that has meant living in Luxor, Egypt, where I started the first boxing club for girls on the West Bank. I'm the author of numerous children's books and essays, as well as the Urban Fantasy series NIGHT ANGELS CHRONICLES. This year sees publication of my sci-fi/dark fantasy work, FIREFLY LANE, with Terror House Press. At the moment, I'm riding out this pandemic in Phoenix, but who can say where tomorrow will take me.
